About this wine
Grapes: 60% Merlot and 40% Sangiovese.
Vinification: the varieties are fermented separately in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature, with approximately 20–25 days of skin maceration. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation follows.
Aging: at least 12–15 months in 10–25 hl oak barrels, followed by several months in bottle.
Characteristics: very deep ruby-red colour. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit and liquorice. Structured, soft and balanced on the palate.
Food pairings: roasted red and white meats, cured meats and lightly matured cheeses.
Bottle format: 0.75 L.
