About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from the Salza Irpina plot, where the vines were planted in 1995 at an altitude of 550 m on limestone and clay soils.

Grapes

The wine is produced from selected fruit.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand during the middle ten days of October, placed in 15 kg crates and transported to the winery. After sorting, they are destemmed and gently pressed, then macerated on the skins and fermented in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine matures for eight years in steel tanks, followed by 12 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Label / history

The wine is named after the mother of the Di Meo brothers.
