About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in vineyards within the Delle Venezie DOC and harvested only at optimal ripeness.
Vinification
After sorting, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo brief skin maceration at 4–6 °C. The must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 20–25 days.
Label / history
Fabiano was founded in 1912, when Francesco Fabiano opened a wine shop in Venice near St Mark’s Basilica. Initially focused solely on wine sales, the company acquired a small estate on the shores of Lake Garda in the Veronese area in 1955. The first Fabiano wines were made there.
