About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo comes from vineyards within the municipality of Barbaresco.

Grapes

100% Nebbiolo.

Vinification

The wine is vinified at the estate’s Barolo cellar under a historic authorization permitting production outside the Barbaresco zone. Fermentation takes place on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for approximately 15–20 days. The wine is then racked.

Ageing

Ageing lasts at least two years in medium-capacity Slavonian oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Ruby red with garnet reflections. The persistent aroma shows sweet-spice notes, while the palate is dry and intense.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 16–17 °C. The available format is a 750 mL bottle.

Label / history

Barbaresco joined the estate’s established Barolo production in the early 1960s. It has since been made with the same emphasis on typicity and traditional methods.
