About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from 15–18-year-old vines in a 1.5 ha vineyard in Pianpolvere. Its limited size keeps yields low, and production is correspondingly small.

Vinification

The must is vinified traditionally in stainless-steel vats.

Ageing

The wine rests for six months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks and further ageing in bottle before release.

Tasting profile

The nose offers ripe fruit and floral aromas. The palate is fresh and approachable in youth, combining power and youthful energy with depth and tension.
