About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from vineyards in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, at elevations of 300–380 metres with south-eastern exposure. The marly-limestone soils contain a predominance of sand and silt.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, pressed and destemmed. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks, accompanied by an 8–10-day maceration. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine matures in large barrels after malolactic fermentation.
Serving and pairing
Its full-bodied profile suits red-meat and game main courses and can also accompany cheese.
