About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Glera fruit comes from Lamberti’s own vineyards. The estate has 27 hectares of vines in the heart of the Bardolino area, a few kilometres from the eastern shore of Lake Garda. The vineyards benefit from a favourable climate and suitable soils. Rose bushes are planted at the beginning of each row.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in September to retain freshness and gently pressed for the free-run juice. This is fermented at a controlled 16–18 °C to produce the base wine. A second fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 15–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine spends one month on the lees.
Tasting profile
Light and elegant, with distinctive fruit and floral notes. The palate is soft and well balanced.
Label / history
Lamberti was founded in 1964 in Lazise, Veneto, on the shores of Lake Garda. Its name comes from the ancestral estate of the Lamberti family, one of the area’s oldest families. The winery is now part of Gruppo Italiano Vini (GIV).
