Terroir
La Morandina is based at Località Morandini in Castiglione Tinella, in the province of Cuneo. Its named viticultural geography extends beyond the home commune. Bricco Di Neive is identified as a Nebbiolo vineyard. Barbera comes from sites in Montegrosso d’Asti, Costigliole and Rocca d’Arazzo; part of this area is identified more broadly as Monferrato. Castiglione Tinella is associated with Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Moscato.
Philosophy
The estate summarizes its outlook with the phrase “Wine: the mirror of nature,” presenting wine as an expression and reflection of the natural world.
