About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo vineyards are on the Tolino farm, known as Tulin in Piedmontese dialect, across the municipalities of Treiso and Neviglie.
Vinification
Modern technology is combined with traditional winemaking techniques. The wine macerates on the skins in steel tanks for 15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in barrels for 18–20 months, followed by 9 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
The nose is rich and layered. The palate is juicy, bright and well structured.
Label / history
Until 2001, the wine was released under the name Vintage; it was subsequently renamed Tulin. In Piedmontese, tulin means a small tin box, while tule means a tinsmith.
