Vineyard and terroir
Selected Sangiovese clones are grown in organically farmed vineyards in Montepulciano, with an emphasis on freshness and personality.

100% Sangiovese.
Ageing
Beginning with the 2024 vintage, part of the wine is matured in cocciopesto amphora for the first time, while the remainder ages in 34 hL French-oak vats. The Italian description gives an eight-month maturation period; another official-language version describes six months for the amphora component.
Tasting profile
Intense, bright ruby red. Red-fruit aromas mingle with delicate floral notes. The palate combines harmonious drinkability with an elegant structure.

Vintage notes
The 2024 release is an organic Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and represents a new interpretation of Sangiovese within the Poliziano range.
