Label / history

The wine honours Don Fiorino Marengo, the parish priest who in 1958 brought together 19 growers and guided the foundation of Produttori del Barbaresco, with the cellar built in the centre of the village. Inspired by Domizio Cavazza's example, Don Fiorino served the community with foresight and dedication and played a decisive role in the revival of the territory.

The cuvée also pays tribute to an earlier Barbaresco tradition: instead of vinifying each vineyard separately, the finest grapes from leading sites were blended to make the best possible wine.
