About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in Contrada Marotta, in the town of Montefusco, at an altitude of 650 m, with an easterly exposure. Irpinia has a cool, wet climate, often with heavy winter snow. Wide day–night temperature differences in summer contribute clear acidity. The soils are predominantly volcanic, with limestone and clay, and impart generous mineral notes. Greco ripens late and has thick skins and large, compact bunches; retained moisture between the tightly packed berries makes the variety susceptible to mould.
Vinification
Maceration is followed by alcoholic fermentation using traditional methods.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks.

Well structured and complex, with clear acidity and generous mineral notes.
