About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The one-hectare vineyard lies in Contrada Bosco Satrano, in the municipality of San Michele di Serino. It overlooks the winery, faces northwest and has views of Mount Partenio. Its 4,400 vines were planted in clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 510 m in 2009.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in the last week of September and gently pressed as whole bunches. Vinification takes place entirely in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine rests on its fine lees in stainless-steel tanks for 12 months, followed by a further 12 months in bottle.
