About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Strassoldo vineyards, where the soils consist of gravel and silica. The Aquileia area is marked by sunshine, fresh Alpine breezes and proximity to the sea.
Grapes
Two clones are used: one of Italian origin and one of French origin.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked in the morning, placed in crates and selected to retain only the best bunches. They remain at a low temperature until the following day, when they are gently pressed. The two clones ferment separately at a controlled temperature of 14–16 °C.
Ageing
The separate wines mature on their lees for eight months before blending.
Tasting profile
The wine has expressive aromas.
Serving and pairing
Pair with Italian vegetable, seafood and fish dishes.
Label / history
