About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot is grown in the Cervignano del Friuli area.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are taken to the winery and crushed. Traditional vinification takes place in stainless-steel tanks with skin contact, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Bright and fruity, with pleasant notes of red fruit and berries.
Label / history
The Zonin family acquired Tenuta Ca' Bolani in 1970. The estate is located in Aquileia, an area associated with wine since the Roman Empire.
