About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Veneto, where the Dolomites shelter them from cold northerly winds. Southerly winds from the Adriatic Sea provide sufficient rainfall, particularly in summer. Marked differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures encourage aromatic development in the grapes.
Grapes
Glera is blended with a small proportion of Pinot Nero.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are pressed and undergo a brief skin maceration. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and followed by a second fermentation.
