Caparzo

Caparzo is one of three estates owned by Elisabetta Angelina, alongside Doga delle Clavule (130 hectares, in the municipality of Magliano) and Borgo Scopeto (Tenuta Scopeto, 503 hectares, in the Siena area). Although the three estates share the same owner, each has developed its own distinct approach. Under the owner's guidance, all three estates have become known internationally.

Caparzo covers 200 hectares in the Montalcino area of Tuscany.

At Caparzo, the focus is on innovation and experimentation. This distinguishes it from the owner's other two estates: at Doga delle Clavule, a 130-hectare estate in the municipality of Magliano, the winemakers produce just three wines, made with care and passion; at Borgo Scopeto, a 503-hectare estate in the Siena area, the team follows the classic, familiar traditions of Italian winemaking.

All three estates are made "with care and passion" (as described for Doga delle Clavule's three wines). Each of the owner's three properties follows its own distinct approach: innovation and experimentation at Caparzo, classic Italian tradition at Borgo Scopeto, and a limited, careful production at Doga delle Clavule.
