Storia
Fanti's story began in the 19th century in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate valley in Tuscany. It continues today through the work of Elisa and Filippo Fanti. In 2005, a new winery was completed on the estate, built partly underground, used to test new technologies for selecting grapes and making wine.
Terroir
The estate lies in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate valley in Tuscany, at elevations of 150–430 meters above sea level. Soils are composed of limestone and marl.
Vinificazione
Sangiovese makes up 80% of the total harvest across the estate's vineyards, complemented by Vermentino, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and other varieties.
