Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Gri vineyard in San Lorenzo. The vines average around 10 years of age and grow at 60 m above sea level in limestone soils with a high gravel content.
Grapes
The blend comprises 95% Verduzzo and 5% Riesling.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are dried for four months in a well-ventilated room. Fermentation takes place in new 225 L French oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine remains in the fermentation barrels for five months, followed by another year in bottle in the cellars of Lis Neris.
Tasting profile
Elegant and gently sweet, with a creamy texture. Almond and floral aromas are joined by hints of fruit.
Label / history
Annual production is limited to 2,600 bottles.
