Storia

2006\nThe Borgogni sisters, driven by a respect for tradition and an entrepreneurial spirit, bought a farm in the hills of Montalcino, in an area traditionally known as "La Madonna."\n\n### After the purchase\nWith the help of two architects, the sisters renovated the farm and created a garden of olive trees and Mediterranean plants, including white roses, lavender and myrtle, around the estate's three pale-stone buildings: the manor house, an ancient fortress that had protected the northeastern part of the estate for centuries, and a large terrace designed for wine tastings.

The estate lies in the hills of Montalcino, in an area traditionally known as "La Madonna." Two of the estate's 6 hectares of vineyards sit within the grounds of Sant'Antimo Abbey, where Brunello di Montalcino grapes are grown.
