"### 2000\nFeudi della Medusa was founded by Francesco and Heide Siclari in southern Sardinia, in Santa Margherita di Pula, near the ancient city of Nora. From the start, the founders set out to make wines that would bring genuine enjoyment to wine lovers.\n\n### Building the estate\nThe founders first purchased vineyards and signed leases for several more plots, then began building the winery that operates today. Feudi della Medusa now covers around 70 hectares, including twenty hectares held under long-term leases. Each designated vineyard plot is planted with just one clone of a particular grape variety, chosen as the best match for the site."
