Storia
1436 to 1980
The story of the Pandolfa estate dates back to 1436. Only in 1980 did winemaking come to be seen as its main focus. That change came through Noelia Ricci, who inspired and brought to life the idea of creating a winery.
2010 to the present
Noelia Ricci was launched as a project in 2010 at the historic Pandolfa estate. In 2010 Marco Cirese began a new zoning project and planted Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Albana. The first vintage was released in 2013. He also brought together a new team. The winery is now managed by Noelia Ricci's granddaughter, Paole Piscopo, and her great-grandson, Marco Cirese.
Vinificazione
In 2010 a new zoning project was begun and Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Albana were planted.
The first vintage was released in 2013. The winery pays tribute to classic style with a modern approach. It avoids deeply colored wines with high alcohol levels and focuses on wines with a delicate structure, a distinctive personality and a complex bouquet.
Filosofia
The winery describes itself as paying tribute to classic style while taking a modern approach. It avoids deeply colored wines with high alcohol levels and aims for wines with a delicate structure, a distinctive personality and a complex bouquet. Noelia Ricci had complete faith in the potential of her land and the importance of family values. The team's shared understanding and love of winemaking help tell the story of the land through the wines.
