About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on east-facing hillsides in the municipality of Isera, at 200 to 400 metres above sea level. The well-drained soils are gravelly, calcareous, sandy-loam and basaltic. Warm Mediterranean days contrast with cool nights, which helps the grapes develop their full aromatic potential.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September. After pressing, the juice undergoes static settling and ferments at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine is aged in steel tanks until bottling.

Label / history
Chardonnay came to Trentino from Burgundy more than a century ago. It is now one of the region's main grape varieties, used for both sparkling and still wines.
