About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on east-facing hillsides in Trentino, at 200–700 m above sea level. The temperature difference between day and night helps retain the variety's freshness and aromatic intensity. The deep loamy soils give the wine body, a soft texture and its characteristic richness.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand in the second half of September, once they have reached aromatic ripeness. They are vinified as a white wine with brief skin contact, which gently extracts aromatic compounds and gives the palate more body. The must is clarified by settling and fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve clean fruit and floral character.
Ageing
Before bottling the wine spends some time in steel tanks, which allows the flavours to come together and become more harmonious. No oak is used.
Tasting profile
Rich and aromatic, expressive and distinctive. The palate is soft and full, with notes of rose petals, ripe tropical fruit and spice, yet it never feels too heavy.
Serving and pairing
Suited to Asian cuisine and spicy dishes, and to relaxed dinners.
