About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from hillside vineyards in the municipalities of Isera, Villa Lagarina and Rovereto, at 350 to 750 metres above sea level. The vineyards face east and northeast. Soils are well drained and gravelly, with limestone and sandy loam. Warm Mediterranean days and cool nights help the grapes develop their full aromatic potential.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the middle of September. After pressing, the juice undergoes static settling, then ferments at a controlled temperature. The wine is kept in steel tanks until bottling.

Youthful yet complex, with an elegant, fresh character.
Vintage notes
2021 was a challenging year in Trentino. The winter was mostly sunny but very cold. Spring temperatures rose only briefly and intermittently, slowing the vines' development. A warm, sunny start to summer made up for the delay in the growing cycle. July and August were unsettled, and the harvest began relatively late. A rainy September was a serious test for growers, but the results were impressive.
Label / history
Pinot Bianco is of French origin and arrived in Trentino more than a century ago, together with Chardonnay.
