About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Grigio grows on gravelly alluvial soils in Trentino. Yields are deliberately limited, and careful vineyard practices aim at grapes of the highest quality. The region's many microclimates and soils allow the different wine styles typical of Trentino to be made.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, gently destemmed and delicately pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
After fermentation the wine rests on fine lees in steel vats. This adds complex secondary aromas that develop several months after bottling.
Tasting profile
An expressive, inviting wine with a generous fruit-and-floral bouquet. It combines the warmth of the Italian sun with a mineral freshness reminiscent of Alpine air. The structure is elegant and appealing, the bouquet bright, the taste balanced and the acidity pronounced.
Serving and pairing
Suited as an aperitif and with dinner. It pairs with a wide range of dishes, from light appetizers to grilled fish.
