About this wine
The oldest vines of the estate — planted 1950, 2000 and 2007 — on white silty calcareous soil over sandy Marne di Sant'Agata Fossili; south exposure at 380–410 m, 30% slope, Guyot, 4,500–5,000 vines/ha. Manual harvest mid-October; 55–60 q/ha. Steel fermentation, malolactic in wood, French oak of various sizes. About 6,000 bottles; 750 ml and 3 L.
