About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in the municipality of Rocca San Giovanni, on open hillsides along the Costa dei Trabocchi coast at 100–200 metres above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand during the second ten-day period of October and gently pressed. Maceration and fermentation take place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures for around eight months, with 60% kept in stainless-steel tanks and 40% in oak tonneaux. The two portions are then blended and bottled, followed by a further three to four months of ageing.
