About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Nebbiolo comes from selected vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas, while Syrah is grown in the family’s vineyards in Diano d’Alba.
Grapes
A blend of Nebbiolo and Syrah.
Vinification
The grapes are picked early to retain freshness. After a few hours of skin contact, the must ferments at low temperature in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains in stainless steel on its fine lees until bottling.
Tasting profile
Pale pink in colour, with a floral, fresh and spicy profile. The palate is dry, fragrant and fresh, combining the finesse of Nebbiolo with the aromatic character of Syrah.
Label / history
The first vintage was 2022. The name “Rosy” refers both to the wine’s colour and to Rosy, a member of the Pio Cesare family.
