Storia

1927 – Foundation

Casa Vinicola Alberto Bartali e Figli was founded in 1927 by Alberto Bartali and his wife, Leda Pucci, in the heart of the Chianti region.

Under Rivo Bartali

Leadership passed to their son Rivo, who led the estate into a new phase of development, strengthening its market position by applying his expertise and working to produce higher-quality wines.

1968 – Purchase of the Campinoti estate

Rivo purchased the Campinoti estate, a large property comprising 15 hectares of vineyards, 250 olive trees, farmland, and woodland. He passed his deep love of the Tuscan land and winemaking on to his children, Alberto, Vanda, and Maria, as well as to Vanda's husband, Marco. Their combined efforts helped strengthen the estate.

1976 – Purchase of Villa Casone

The family expanded its holdings again in 1976 with the purchase of the Villa Casone estate, once owned by the Terrosi Vagnoli counts. The Bartali heirs now live there.

1980s onward – Export focus

Since the 1980s, exports have been a key focus for Casa Vinicola Alberto Bartali e Figli, and today Bartali wines are exported to 5 continents.

The family business is run by Rivo's grandchildren, Filippo, Linda, and Andrea.
