Vineyard and terroir

Crede comes from selected vineyards in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. Their ancient slopes, once covered by the sea, were shaped by slow earth movements that arched the strata and set them vertically. Clay holds rainwater close to the vine roots, helping protect the plants during drought and supporting the development of acids associated with the wine’s delicate floral character. The vineyards face south and southeast and are trained using the doppio capovolto system. Grapes are picked by hand into bins at the end of September.

Grapes

85% Glera and 15% Chardonnay.

Vinification

Secondary fermentation lasts 30 days.

Technical data

Alcohol: 11.5% vol. Total acidity: 5.68 g/L. Residual sugar: 8 g/L. Available in 750 mL, 1.5 L and 3 L bottles. Crede is the highest-volume wine in the range.

Tasting profile

Straw yellow with greenish nuances. Green apple, citrus and wildflowers shape the bouquet, accompanied by further light citrus notes. The palate is fresh and linear, with balanced acidity and a clean, mineral close. Its bright profile and versatile structure suit service throughout a meal.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 6–8 °C in a glass combining the narrower shape of a flute with the broader aromatic chamber of a tulip. It is intended for youthful drinking and shows best 12–24 months after bottling; over time, its fruit-led aromas evolve toward riper, more vinous tones. Store in a dark, cool and dry place at 12–15 °C, upright during the first year and optionally horizontally thereafter.

Label / history

“Crede” is the local dialect word for clay, the defining element of the vineyards’ soils. An icon of Bisol1542, it was the first Brut in the history of the denomination and was conceived in line with international stylistic trends.
