Storia
La Crotta di Vegneron was founded in 1980 as a cooperative, starting with around 25 members. Since then, the cooperative has grown to bring together more than 70 members, who together produce 200,000 bottles of wine a year.
Terroir
The cooperative is based in Chambave, in the Valle d'Aosta region, one of the driest parts of the region. The Aosta Valley is bordered by France to the west and Switzerland to the north. Two DOC zones are found here: Chambave and Nus.
Vinificazione
The winegrowers who belong to the cooperative often manage small plots scattered throughout the valley.
