History

1983 — Creation of Turà

Turà was created in 1983 for a young, trend-conscious audience attracted to contemporary ideas but unwilling to compromise on quality. The project was conceived around an approachable sparkling wine suited to multiple occasions, combining freshness with a harmonious, balanced and uncomplicated character. The aperitif was identified as a particularly natural setting for the new brand.

Terroir

Turà draws its grapes from selected vineyards across the Triveneto. No single estate or individual vineyard is identified as the exclusive source of the brand’s wines.

Production begins with the selection of grapes from vineyards across the Triveneto. The grapes are handled and processed with the stated aim of achieving balance and a fine, persistent perlage. Blending is central to the Turà approach: selected grapes are combined to create softness, harmony, accessibility and a fruity character. No cellar layout, fermentation regime, vessel type, ageing protocol or other detailed technical sequence is specified.

Philosophy

Turà’s identity is built around contemporary, uncomplicated sparkling wine for a young and trend-aware audience. Its founding proposition joined accessibility and versatility with an explicit commitment to quality. Freshness, harmony and balance shape the intended style, while the wines are positioned for informal social occasions and especially for the aperitif.
