Storia

Rue des Tonneliers since 1449

Maison Régnard Beaune stands on Rue des Tonneliers in the heart of Beaune’s old town. The street has been associated with the production and commercialisation of Burgundy wines since 1449.

Eighteenth-century cellars

The house occupies a private mansion built over historic cellars dating from the eighteenth century. These cellars preserve the wine-producing heritage of the surrounding quarter.

The foundation of Maison Régnard in 1860

Maison Régnard was founded in Chablis in 1860. Its Beaune premises extend the house’s presence to a historic mansion in the centre of Beaune; a separate date for the establishment of the Beaune location is not given.

Filosofia

Maison Régnard presents its role in Beaune as the continuation of the wine-producing and commercial tradition associated with Rue des Tonneliers since 1449. Its range is intended to express the diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs through appellations from both the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune.
