Maison Régnard Chablis

1860 — Foundation

Monsieur Régnard founded Maison Régnard in Chablis in 1860. The house became established in the historic centre of Chablis, where its cellars and winery remain.

1984 — Baron Patrick de Ladoucette takes over

Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over Maison Régnard in 1984. He continued its tradition-led approach while working to preserve and improve the style and typicity of its wines.

1992 — Creation of Grand Régnard

In 1992, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette created Grand Régnard, a special cuvée selected from Maison Régnard’s best Chablis parcels. It was presented in a distinctive bottle inspired by an eighteenth-century form. A new selection is made each year with the intention of expressing the youthful character and fruit of Chablis.

The house’s cellars and winery remain in the historic centre of Chablis. Its production philosophy is framed around respect for tradition and the preservation and refinement of the style and typicity of its wines. Grand Régnard involves an annual selection from the house’s best Chablis parcels.
