Vineyard and terroir
Produced in Montefalco from vineyards planted in 1976 and 2001 at 420 metres above sea level. The vines are Guyot-trained at a density of 4,000 plants per hectare, with a yield of 40 quintals per hectare. The south-east-facing soils are silty and sandy, with clay and river pebbles.

Matured for 96 months in French-oak barriques and refined for a further 12 months in bottle.
