Villa Calcinaia

The Capponi counts have lived at Villa Calcinaia since 1524. Each generation of the family has brought new life to its fields, forests, vineyards and cellars. The estate is now run by Sebastiano Capponi and his brother Niccolò.

Villa Calcinaia lies in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, near the town of Greve in Chianti.

Organic farming is standard practice for the Capponi family.
