Storia
Origins (1887)
In 1887 winemaker Francesco Mionetto opened a modest winery in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area. His two brothers later joined him and helped grow the business and build its reputation for quality. The company kept pace with changing tastes while staying close to tradition.
First World War and revival (1914–1961)
The outbreak of the First World War nearly ended the story: all the men in the family were called up for military service. The winery stayed abandoned until 1961, when the founder's grandchildren took charge.
International growth (1998–2008)
Over 125 years Mionetto became a leading Italian sparkling wine producer and established itself in international markets, particularly the United States. From 1998 its growth there was helped by the use of a sparkling wine production facility in New York owned by the German Henkell Group. Mionetto joined the group in 2008 and has received numerous awards and prizes at international competitions.
Today
Winemaking is continued by Alessio del Savio, who studied under Sergio Mionetto for more than 15 years.
Terroir
The winery was founded in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area, where vineyards are an essential part of the landscape.
Vinificazione
Mionetto produces on a large scale through close relationships with Italian grape growers, from whom it has sourced grapes for many years.

Filosofia
The company describes itself as having kept pace with changing tastes and anticipated customers' wishes while staying close to tradition, striving for excellence and developing a distinctive style. It says Mionetto represents the elegant style and sociable spirit of modern Italy and holds a place among the country's premium brands.
