Storia
1950s\nGiuseppe Inama founded the winery, using his savings to buy vineyards in the Soave Classico wine-growing area. He believed in Soave's potential and wanted to show what the Garganega grape could do, aiming to combine high-quality vineyards with old Garganega vines to make wines that could enhance Soave's reputation. He also began growing Sauvignon Blanc, having found that the local soils bring out the distinctive character of this variety particularly well.\n\n### 1990s\nGiuseppe Inama began producing red wines in the Colli Berici region, whose mineral-rich soils and hot, dry climate provide conditions for ripening Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Carmenere had been brought to the area by Italian workers returning from France in the 19th century. Giuseppe and his son Stefano came to consider Colli Berici the best place to grow this variety.\n\n### Present day\nInama owns 25 ha of vineyards in Soave, producing both Soave and Sauvignon Blanc wines there. The winery follows organic farming principles in its vineyards, without promoting this as a marketing tool, placing emphasis instead on the quality of the wine. Inama wines are now known internationally and regularly receive awards.
