Capannelle

History

Capannelle began in 1974, when Raffaele Rossetti moved to a 17th-century villa surrounded by 10.5 hectares in Gaiole in Chianti.

The estate released a barrel-fermented and barrel-aged Chardonnay and developed a range of five wines. Solare was created in 1990. The joint 50&50 project combines Capannelle Sangiovese with Avignonesi Merlot.
